I know that it has been tough in the farming industry lately. Inputs are high and it seems like we aren’t always getting what we pay for anymore. As challenges in agriculture continue to arise, Kern County Farm Bureau is committed to you, and we are excited to bring you more in 2025.
When it comes to the Farm Bureau, I hope you never have to question how it benefits you. I am not naive though, and I know we all need to look for ways to cut costs in this expensive economy. Starting in January we launched our Local Benefits Program. The plan is to continue to bring new benefits every month. All you need is your green Farm Bureau membership card. We are launching three local discounts with three local businesses.

Wonderful Laboratories is an arm of the Wonderful Company that is helping farmers with a local option for soil testing, tissue samples, pathogen testing, and water analysis. Wonderful laboratories are proud to offer a 5% discount on Water Nutrient Analysis (Ag Suitability) & Fertilizer Verification Testing at the Ag Chemistry Division to Kern County Farm Bureau members.
Seedway is a full-line seed company owned and operated by American Farmers. Seedway offers vegetables, turf, wildlife, and farm seeds like clover, alfalfa, oats, and more. They are offering 5% off all Seedway products for 2025.
