Valley Ag Voice newspaper

By Valley Ag Voice Staff

An exciting publishing agreement is announced this month between the Kern County Farm Bureau and the Valley Ag Voice.  For years the Kern County Farm Bureau has published its local Farm News to its members and the broader agriculture industry community in Kern County.  The goal of this publication is to provide agriculture focused news and local information to its farmers, ranchers, and the suppliers that make farming such a big piece of the Kern County economy.

A new ownership group purchased the Valley Ag Voice in April of 2019 with a long-term goal of strengthening the community’s voice of farming by focusing on local agriculture news and original content.  Many readers have even noticed the introduction of the Valley Ag Voice online with the introduction of our website ValleyAgVoice.com.

With both entities publishing with similar goals, it made sense to focus the voice of local agriculture. While both entities remain separate, readers can expect to find rich original content, updates from the Kern County Farm Bureau staff and leaders, and informative articles about issues and topics impacting the local agriculture community.

We look forward to working together collaboratively to providing an even stronger voice for agriculture.
