We are now back in the saddle. The holidays are behind us and we are ready to conquer 2021. How do we set new goals for 2021 after such a difficult 2020? We go back to our “Why.” Kern County Farm Bureau’s “Why” is easy – our members. We are dedicated to advocating for our members and our industry at multiple levels. It is our pleasure to serve our members as we strive to stay ahead of the ever-changing policies at the local, state, and federal level.

The COVID vaccine rollout is here and we have been in constant contact with the state and local officials to ensure our ag community is a priority.

AB617 has presented its challenges, but I’m proud to say that Kern County Farm Bureau has built a great network with transparent communication allowing us to positively share ideas to work through those challenges while keeping our ag community priorities at the forefront.

Kern County Farm Bureau shares information with our members on local, state and federal funding opportunities. Our staff is happy to assist in any way to make sure our members find the grants and/or loans to get through these challenging times. Kern County Farm Bureau has local resources to get you the answers you need to complete these applications.¬

In the coming months, we look forward to moving issues forward through relationship and collaboration. It is the way of the future. Become a member and join us in this effort as we are here to serve. Please contact our office at 661-397-9635 and complete your membership paperwork today.
